The ski season in Scotland typically runs from Christmas to April, but the climate is not such that snow can be guaranteed!

Sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking are all on offer on Loch Morlich, which is around 10 minutes drive from the centre of Aviemore.

The Cairngorms and the ancient forests surrounding Aviemore are one of Britain’s most beautiful wild places, with some of the most popular walking terrain in Scotland. There are a wide variety of designated routes suitable for walkers of all abilities.

Aviemore and the surrounding area are perfect for a golfing holiday, with a variety of attractive 9 and 18 hole courses to suit all abilities. With the new Spey Valley Golf Course opening in 2006, Aviemore is firmly on the map as a world class golfing destination.
